Some recent broadcasts on dehumanization, war, genocide, race, antisemitism, and related matters
It’s been a while since I posted a new essay on this platform. This isn’t because dehumanization hasn’t been an issue in the world—quite the contrary. Because of the war in Gaza, and the spike in overt anti-Semitic and anti-Muslim attitudes and actions, hardly a day goes by without the word “dehumanization” appearing multiple times in the mass media. Consequently, I’ve been busy over the last month or so giving interviews. All this, plus the mountain of grading that I am working through, has sharply reduced the time available to me for writing.
So, to tide subscribers over for a little while, I include below links to recent interviews on dehumanization and related matters. I hope that you find them stimulating. As always, feedback is welcome!
Finally, I’ll be giving a live-streamed talk on dehumanization on November 21. I hope some of you drop by!
